Hi, tea friends! I'm back in Japan again. I missed sharing on Substack and decided today was a good day to say “hello” and officially share some exciting news!
We’ve partnered with the SURUGA Tourism Bureau to design a PARU tea tour experience. This week, I’ll be able to see that experience come to life. I’ll share a sneak peek throughout this week, but one of the best parts is that we were able to incorporate some of our long-time tea partners into the tour (many of you have had the pleasure of drinking their tea for years).
The other piece of exciting news is that the stars aligned this year, and we’re having a few PARU tea-m members join us on this sourcing trip! It’s been a dream of mine to be able to share a fresh cup of tea in the heart of the tea fields with our crew. They’re also awesome humans, and I am so excited to spend quality time with them in Japan in the next week.
I’ll be sharing more stories and memories of what Japanese tea means to me personally. Thank you for reading, and feel free to drop any questions below.
